Music Support is a Mutual Aid Group we are not a clinical services provider and are, therefore, unable to provide medical advice but can signpost clients to appropriate services depending on their circumstances.
We operate a confidential telephone helpline and safe tents at festivals for anyone who works in the music industry and is suffering with mental, emotional and/or behavioural health disorders (including but not limited to alcohol and drug addiction).
We do keep a log of contact information and brief case notes on a secure database so we can follow up with our clients. Our volunteers will also discuss cases in supervision sessions for their support and training purposes and we use generic data figures for research and to measure the outcomes of our services.
We will not disclose any personal information about our beneficiaries to outside entities without their express permission unless we are concerned about their safety, the safety of another adult or of a child. In these circumstances we would contact emergency services or social services as appropriate.
