Criteria:

Thanks to kind support from Backup Tech and Stagehand, we are really pleased to offer freelance production workers who work in UK music and/or live events the opportunity to attend our Addiction and Recovery Awareness workshop for FREE.

To be eligible for this bursary you must be self-employed, working full-time in a freelance capacity (ideally for a minimum of five years) as crew/production personnel (which could range from Rigging and Catering to Production Assistant and Tour Manager and everything in between) or in a touring role (having worked on at least one tour). You must be aged 18+ and work in UK music and/or live events.

*AVAILABLE DATES – The workshop will run from 10am – 2pm (on Zoom) on Tuesday 12th November

Tips for applying

We are looking for applicants who are interested in:

  • Improving knowledge and understanding about addiction and recovery
  • Challenging misconceptions and stigma about addiction and recovery
  • Making UK music and live events the best environment to work in from the perspective of workforce health and wellbeing

Please note: There are a limited number of bursaries available for the workshop and so we encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible.

Places will be offered, and workshops delivered, on a rolling basis throughout the year.  We aim to let all successful applicants know within 30 days of submission.

Please note: applying does not guarantee you a place on the course.  We are unable to offer feedback to applicants or other specific information about individual applications received.
