Why did you choose to raise funds for Music Support?
In our line of work, we team up with Event Managers, the unsung heroes behind the scenes of the best UK festivals. These guys are the backbone of events, juggling crazy logistics and high expectations to pull off flawless events. But, the festival scene can be intense, exposing those working in it to immense stress, and burnout among our colleagues and friends isn’t uncommon.
We chose to raise money for Music Support, to shine a light on the importance of mental well-being, especially for those working their tails off to make our favourite festivals happen.
Music Support provided some of our team with Mental Health First Aid training last year, and as a company we wanted to give back – a charity that works and understands the industry.

Our entire team works remotely, we get that sitting too much and staring at screens all day isn’t great for anyone, so we thought of ways we could counter this and ‘Miles for Mental Health’ was launched. We were committed to accumulating miles through various exercises such as walking, running, and playing sports like squash, football, and rugby – recording how many miles they did over 4 weeks, a massive 803.8 miles! Friends, family and animals joined in as well.
This initiative not only promoted a healthier lifestyle but also encouraged our team to step outdoors, breathe in fresh air, and enjoy a change of environment, all essential for maintaining good mental and physical health. We had such positive feedback from the team, one of them told us ‘Before, I used to get the post-lunch ‘slump’ so I took myself out for a 30-minute walk – felt refreshed afterwards and knew I was helping to raise money at the same time’.
