Music Support empowers our UK music community to navigate the highs and lows of the industry and achieve their full potential through meaningful connection and compassionate support.

Our Connections and Community strand exists to create safer, person-centred spaces for self-awareness, connection and belonging. Grounded in lived experience, our work is shaped by empathy, non-judgement and real understanding. Through peer-led support, education and honest dialogue, we challenge stigma and offer practical tools to sustain long-term wellbeing.

We believe in the power of human connection to cultivate resilience, healing, and growth. Our mission is to empower the UK music industry to connect, support one another, and thrive – creating a strong culture of belonging.

We are proud to deliver support for music industry professionals, by music industry professionals.

Why Community?

Social connection is a powerful protective factor for mental health, and yet, loneliness has been declared a public health epidemic.

Our Connections and Community work is all about building supportive, resilient networks across the music sector, helping individuals feel seen, heard and valued.

Peer Support at Music Support

We place peer support at the heart of our Connections and Community approach. Whether you’re struggling, supporting someone else, or simply seeking solidarity, our peer support groups are here for you.

Why Peer Support?

Reduces isolation – sharing space with others who understand can relieve feelings of loneliness and disconnection.

Provides purpose – supporting others as well as being supported builds confidence, self-worth and community spirit.

Encourages open dialogue – honest, judgement-free conversation breaks down stigma.

Builds long-term networks – regular check-ins help maintain wellbeing over time.

We are pleased to offer a series of groups on a variety of topics related to substance use, addiction and/or mental health. Please find the list below.
