Lynne Maltman

Senior Marketing & Events Specialist

Lynne spent 20 years working in Marketing and Events within the music industry from travelling the world as part of the Comms team at MTV to working with festivals across the UK to create award-winning experiences for brands including Persil and Nando’s and even organising her own music festival in Belfast in 2010. In 2018, she followed a long-held dream of moving into the charity sector by working for Children with Cancer UK, raising funds and the charity’s profile through unique events and celebrity partnerships with the likes of Boy George, Snow Patrol and Liam Payne.


In July of that same year, she embarked upon a 90-day alcohol free challenge with the aim of improving her mental and physical health. It had such a positive impact on her life that she is yet to start drinking again and has become passionate about raising awareness of the benefits of taking a break from alcohol, acting as a mentor to many peers along the way through their own alcohol-free challenges. Lynne has been working for Music Support since December 2020 and is proud to bring her experience of the many challenges of working within music and events to this essential charity.
