Why did you choose to raise funds for Music Support?
I chose to raise money for music support because, as a member of the touring community, a charity that is able to provide support to touring individuals, for mental health and addiction issues is amazing and very close to my heart. After seeing friends and colleagues go through addiction with no support, I wanted to help a charity that can provide that support to other individuals in that situation. Also, I chose Music Support because I hoped it would raise awareness of them and what they can offer as a charity.

I took part in Monkey Run Morocco with my dad and two guys we met out there. The idea is you get given a 50cc 2bhp monkey bike (basically only fit for a child to ride) and taken to the West Sahara Desert by Merzouga and told to head to the Agafay Desert, with no support or route in 7 days.
It was New Years Day 2023 and we set off with a rough idea of where we were going, but making it up realistically as we go, and finding accommodation day by day, how hard could it be?
The worst day we experienced was when I got a puncture in the middle of the Atlas Mountains, luckily, we found a local garage in a village we were in, and they sorted it out looking after us. But this put us hours behind and that night we ended up staying in what I could only describe as a stable and below freezing temperatures. The locals couldn’t do anymore for us, they were so helpful and accommodating along the whole trip.
After doing 500 miles we arrived at the finish line. Being able to see the country in the way we did I feel completely thankful for. I will take these memories with me forever.
How much did you raise?
I raised £1000
